Hey there, I’m Papa S’mores.

By day, I’m the guy who loves a well-built system. I thrive on structure, strategy, and digging into problems until I find the “aha” moment. I like to understand how things work — whether it’s a project at work, a new app, or why the dishwasher suddenly makes that noise (spoiler: still don’t know). My colleagues would probably describe me as focused, detail-driven, and just nerdy enough to be dangerous.
But when I clock out? I’m not a spreadsheet. I’m a dad.

And being a dad means a different kind of problem-solving — less about numbers, more about connection. My work brain wants clear inputs and outputs. My family life reminds me that humans don’t work that way. Kids roll their eyes, teens test boundaries, feelings flare up out of nowhere… and honestly? That’s the beautiful mess I wouldn’t trade for anything.

So I show up. Sometimes with dad jokes, sometimes with curiosity, sometimes with the wrong slang at the wrong time. I’m not perfect at it, but I try to bridge the gap between their world and mine, even when it feels like we’re speaking different languages.

Professionally, I value logic and structure. At home, I value laughter, trust, and being the steady voice when everything else feels loud. I guess that’s who I am: part strategist, part soft place to land, always learning, always adjusting.
